  9. Dear Elaine,
I’m writing this now to you because there is no way I would be able to at your celebration of Life.
Ir’s hard to find the right words after more than 50 years of friendship. Because how do you sum up a lifetime of laughter, tears and everything in between?
When I think of us I think of the times you would come to Rolla, and what a thoughtful person you were. That memory and many others was so much of my life, and I will always carry them with me.
Your friendship has been a constant source of strength, joy and comfort. You have helped me shape my life in ways I can’t explain.
No matter where life after death takes us a part of my soul will always be tied to yours.
WITH ALL MY LOVE, YOUR FRIEND,
    TEENA
