Brooksie A. Nelson (nee Spain) on Wednesday, October 22. Loving wife of the late John H. Nelson. Loving mother of Kevin, David (Karen), Keith, Cindy (Greg), Barbie (Steve), Sharon (Morgan); grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 21. Dear sister of Roger, Lloyd and Denise. Brooksie was preceded in death by parents Howard and Ruie June Spain, daughter Lynn, brothers Harold and Gary, sisters Patsy and Brenda.
Brooksie was an accountant for many years at Kentucky Dam Marina. She enjoyed crafts, quilting and fishing. If you knew Brooksie you knew she was loving, very caring and always wore a smile. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services: Visitation on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Road) from 1:00 PM until the service at 3:00 PM. Interment Jefferson Barracks Cemetery private.
