  7. Sincere condolences to Char and the Nesselhauf family. I and his St. Mary’s High 1959 classmates will all sorely miss Joe. The most significant attribute of Joe was he was a GREAT guy, always happy, personable, who loved St. Mary’s High, came to every monthly luncheon, could not be topped in beer drinking, and sometimes reluctantly contributed to his poker partners. I already miss him.

  11. Joe’s favorite story of me was when we went golfing with Joe, his son, myself and another friend of Joe’s. All three of them hit their balls straight down the 5th fairway. When I hit my ball, I sliced it really bad and was about 3 Fairways over trying to catch up. He always loved telling that story. Joe you will be missed.

  13. Joe was always cheerful and in good spirits (pun intended). Those of us who knew him are indeed blessed. He will be missed. Rest in peace, fellow Dragon.

  15. My Dear Cousin Char,
I am deeply saddened by Joe’s passing and offer my condolences and deepest sympathy to you and your family. I love you all and wish that I could be there to celebrate Joe’s life. Luckily, we live in the age of YouTube and I was able to attend the funeral virtually. It was beautiful! . . . from the opening when the priest mixed up Jesus with Joe to the absolutely lovely rendition of the Ave Maria and Joe’s very touching remarks. My hat is off to him because I was not able to speak at my parents’ funerals. Well Done!
So many wonderful memories of family gatherings of all sorts!
I will always remember and be deeply grateful for the many ways that you, Joe, and your family have been so kind to my parents and me. I feel so blessed that we are family!
Praying for God’s blessings, healing, and peace!
