Passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2023.
Marie was born on January 12th, 1950, sixth in a family of nine. She went on to surround herself with many loyal friends, the Orangutans. She taught for many years at Bishop DuBourg High School where she touched the lives of thousands of students. She was loved by many who now find a hole in their lives including her husband, Stephen, her children Katie (Sean) Fraizer, David (Susannah) Neville, Elizabeth (Noah) Neville, and her countless siblings, in-laws, extended family, and friends.
SERVICES: Visitation Wednesday, September 6th at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Rd 63123) from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel on Thursday, September 7th 9:15 am for 10:00 am Mass at the Newman Center at WashU (6352 Forsyth Blvd 63105). Interment at Lake Charles Cemetery.

Every time I think of Marie I remember her laugh and that gorgeous smile. Joe and I miss you.

Hugs & prayers for the entire Neville family & the McDevitt Clan. Aunt Marie was always smiling & loved to laugh. I loved talking to her, she was such an amazing lady. She took me to the Muny to see “Annie” when I was little, I thought I was such a big kid getting to hang out with Aunt Marie.
Was Marie crying? Oh, wait no! She was laughing all the while. What’s that you say? Marie just remembered a great show tune with those lyrics to sing aloud. Caught in the rain at the VP Fair? Let’s do a little Gene Kelly dance number. That was our Marie. I loved that wonderful woman who graced my life as a friend and co-worker for so many years.
Heaven is brighter today.

Aunt Marie had always been one of the most welcoming, kind, and encouraging people I’ve ever met. I’ve spent some of the best holidays at her and Steve’s place. I love you and will miss you, Aunt Marie.
