Monday, October 8, 2018, lovingly surrounded by his  family.

George was just shy of turning 103 and was blessed with good health for most of his life. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Florence  Paspalas (nee Leontsinis);  survived by son  Philip  Paspalas, daughter Alexis (Michael) Bante; grandchildren Philip (Elizabeth), Maggie,  Kathryn (Loren)  and John Paspalas, Joseph and Christine Bante, and 6 loving great-grandchildren.

George was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. A lifelong member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and AHEPA.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois,  Sunday, October 14, 4-8 p.m. (with Trisaghion Service at 7 p.m.). Funeral service at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (4967 Forest Park Ave., 63108) Monday, October 15, 10 a.m.  Interment St. Matthew Cemetery. Memorials to St. Nicholas Family Life Center or St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church appreciated.[]
