In Loving Memory

Pauly, Robert J. , 88,  Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday April 4, 2025. Son of the late Clara Walz (nee Wozniak). Robert was self-employed and an avid fire buff who enjoyed visiting his firefighter friends at St. Louis Fire Stations. In 1997, St. Louis Fire Chief Neil Svetanics invited him to be Historian and Curator of the St. Louis Fire Department Museum, where he volunteered until his passing. He had many friends in the St. Louis Fire Department, past and present, including his best friend the late Andy Tracy. Also  those who assisted him personally, including LeVora Kaufmann, Adam Owens, Dennis Maag, and Dave Neighbors. A special thanks to those wonderful friends at Mercy Hospital-St. Louis, Lansdowne Village, and Breeze Hospice who provided such loving patience and care during Mr. Pauly’s final days. He loved all of you and called you his angels. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Backstoppers.
