Linda Peacock, 86, passed peacefully December 14, 2025, after an almost two-year fight with uterine cancer. She was visited often by family in her last days and felt loved. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Fred Peacock and her two sons John Peacock (Elisabeth) and David Peacock (Jane) and the four grandchildren who were the light of her life Taylor Peacock, Ryan Peacock, Justin Peacock and Chloe Peacock. Hers was a life of silent heroism. Like so many people who live quietly but intentionally, she impacted many, cared for all and was a source of strength for her family.

Born June 6, 1939, in St Louis, Linda had an younger sister (Julie Yeager) and loving parents, Sara and Floyd “Larry” Weaver. She attended the University of North Carolina Women’s College before transferring and graduating from Southeast Missouri State.
