Asleep in Jesus on Friday, February 21st, 2025.
Beloved wife of Allen “Al” Pfeuffer; devoted mother of Christopher (Jill), Gregory (Cheryl), and Jacob (Meg) Pfeuffer; adoring grandmother of Alex, Derek, Layton, Braden, and Colin Pfeuffer; dearest daughter of the late Grace Whitman (nee Vierheilig) and Robert Whitman; loving sister of Robert “Bob” (Linda) Whitman, Jr.; our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend.
Sandi was loved by all and always ready to laugh, listen, or share an encouraging word. She found great joy in spending time with her family and friends enjoying holidays, birthdays, sporting events, and all of life’s daily adventures. Sandi truly had a gift for making every person she met feel special.
In lieu of flowers, contributions made to Ascension Lutheran Church or the Animal Protective Association (APA) of St. Louis are greatly appreciated.
SERVICES: Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Wednesday, February 26th at 9:30 AM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday, February 25th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
My deepest sympathy to Sandi’s family. I was lucky to know Sandi since Affton high school days. Always so happy & bubbly. Will miss her at our Affton Girl’s lunches.
Sandi and I had the pleasure, through marriage, for the both of us to become Aunts to our Nephew Brian Whitman and Niece Jill Whitman. We did not see each other often but on the occasions when we did, I always enjoyed her bubbly sweet laugh and personality. Later as her and Al retired, she showed my Mom great kindness by always dropping by her Retirement Home, which always made her day. She will be greatly missed by anyone who knew her. RIP Sandi💔
My deepest condolences to your family.
Though I do not believe I had the honor of meeting Sandra, I know from Chris what a wonderful and loving person she must have been to raise such an incredible man.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
May the Peace of Christ bring you comfort now and always.
Mrs Pfeuffer was the sweetest lady she raised 3 fine boys and loved all her grandsons it was a pleasure of knowing her threw Greg she will be missed dearly
Al my deepest sympathy. I know from personal experience what it is like to loose your spouse and mother of your children. It has been 9 years for me. You will learn to live with it but you never really get over it. The best is that the good memories last forever. We enjoyed having neighbors like you and Sandy for all these years.
Our deepest sympathy to the family. We are so glad we knew Sandy by being our neighbor for many, many years. She always liked to come out and see my doggies as I walked them. Such a nice neighbor. We are lucky that we got to be friends.
