Wanda

In Loving Memory

Pfiffner, Wanda

Wanda Pfiffner (Nee Langehennig) born December 8, 1945 in St. Louis, Mo.  Went to be with her savior on May 13, 2023 in St. Louis, Mo. Preceded in death by her Aunt Laura Langehennig, her mother and father Vivian and Art Langehennig.  Mother of Kim (Tony) Morgan, Charlie Pfiffner, Caroline (Art) Menendez, and Jodi (Dave) Scott.  Grandmother of Laura (Leo), Katie (Mikey), Cyle (Kayla), Drew (Danny), David (Savanah), Bradley, Jaden, Patience, Chris, AJ, Lillian.  Great Grandmother of Zander, Enzo, Briley, Tyne, Trail, Amelia, and Saiah.  Sister of Anne McGilvray.

Wanda was involved with all the activities of her children from attending basketball and football games. Wanda was a dance mom and a horse mom.  Wanda was known as an avid seamstress.  She sewed our clothes as kids, made the outfits for the pom squad, and the brides maid dresses for two of her daughter’s weddings.

The love of playing cards has been passed down to her children and now her grandkids.  We have many great memories of card games.  Wanda loved to travel with her family and was blessed to be able to travel right before she became ill.  She will be greatly missed, and we will cherish the memories we made with her.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Wednesday, May 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with a memorial service at 6:30pm. Services conclude at the funeral home.

  1. So very sorry to hear of Wanda’s passing. I met her through my mom who worked with Wanda many years ago at the Hillsboro courthouse. I had always known Wanda to be kindhearted. Sending prayers and our most sincere condolences to her family.

  4. I remember Wanda yrs ago when she would make little wooden hand craft ornaments at craft shows at Hillsboro school. It was a scroll saw she made it move with a foot peddle. I was so intrigued by her work. RIP sweet lady.
