We Britton girls loved her as “other mother” growing up on Harwich. She was a wonderful woman. One of my many fond memories of her is the sumptuous feastif hot chocolate and made-from-scratch doughnuts after a cold night of Trick-or-Treating on Halloween every year!

Your parents were part of what we knew as “The Crowd”, along with our parents Henry & Joyce Heck. We saw them whenever they came over for parties and the families would gather for picnics during the summer.
I understand my oldest sister, Mary, dated David for a while, and I thought Jack and Ruth were two of the funniest adults I knew as a kid. They were always smiling and they always made me laugh too.
