Rickman

In Loving Memory

Rickman, Kathleen Jo

July 3, 1940 - October 17, 2024

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Thursday, October 17, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Joe H. Rickman. Dear mother of Kevin (Kathy) Rickman, Karen (Mike Havener) Brockfeld, Kim (Stephen) Edwards, Kurt Rickman, Khristopher (Erin) Rickman, Kay (Steve) Armstrong, Dear grandmother of Kyle (Jamie), Scott, James Patrick (Kristen), Eryn (Tyler), Cory, Kayla (fiancé Phil), Joe, Samantha, and Nicole (Christian). Loving great grandmother of Jack, Sadie, August, Rhett, Ava, Vivian, James, Nora, and Leo. Dear daughter of the late Marcel and Ellen Boettinger. Dear sister of Robert (Sue) Boettinger and Rosemary (the late Bill) Burgess. Our dear aunt, cousin and friend.

Her legacy is the family she leaves behind, despite any differences we are still a family in the end and it’s our responsibility to carry it forward as she would intend.  What a blessing it is to be able to look back and reflect on life while saying your goodbyes knowing you’ve run your race and given us the chance to run ours.

  1. Kevin and Kathy,
We are so very sorry for your loss! We send our sincerest condolences to the entire Rickman and extended family. We all only have one Mother. I know how greatly she will be missed all too well. Rally together and support each other through this very difficult time. Some will need more support than other’s. Give them grace.
Sending BIG hugs to all of you. There is an extra big hug enclosed sent especially for her wonderful dedicated caring son Kevin. Every Mother should be so fortunate to have a Kevin in life.
    Blessings,
    Frank and Kimberly LaRosa

  3. To all my cousins and their families, I am sincerely sorry about the loss of your mother (grandmother). I thought she was the nicest of people. We all know to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ. That is a far better place tan here. I know you will miss her very much, but you can find splice in the fact that she will be waiting at the gates for each and everyone of you, when you arrive at your appointed time. The greatest family reunion ever! I love you all.

  4. Kevin and Rickman family,
We are so sorry for your loss. The time that the Burgess family spent together in the early 70’s on Russell with the Rickman family was truly special. We cherish the memories of our time with Aunt Kathleen. We will always remember and celebrate her life.
Love, Liz Vail and the Burgess Family
