It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger Robbe. He passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 23, 2025. He was born on July 22, 1940, in St. Louis. Roger and Fran were married 60 years and had two daughters. He was a dedicated father and Grandfather to Renee and Rob.
Roger started his career at Mateker’s Market pulling weeds from the sidewalk and ended his career by achieving Vice President of Procurement for Super Valu in Minneapolis. He loved cars, eagles, Coca Cola, junk food, and finding a good deal when shopping. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had an amazing sense of humor and loved to laugh. He always reminded everyone that he was born in the same year as Bugs Bunny. He was always the first one to lend a hand to others who needed help. He traveled around the world teaching different countries safe food handling, however always remembering to bring something special home for his family.
Service: Visitation at St Simon Catholic Church (11011 Mueller Rd. 63123) on Wednesday, August 27 at 10:00 AM until Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Services under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
I’m so sorry to hear about Roger passing away. I feel honored to have known him.
My sincere condolences to Fran, Renee and Rob.
My heartfelt sympathy to Fran & family . I have many fond memories while being close neighbors for 6 years with Roger & Fran . My wife Marlene & I enjoyed our many get togethers . On one of our drives Roger was so excited to have us tour St.James the Greater Church where they got married. I now pray for his eternal peaceful rest in Heaven.
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers.
