  2. Gary- truly one of the great ones. I feel so lucky to have known you and to have been welcomed by this family. The kind of man he was—genuine, strong, and full of heart—is something you don’t come across often. He left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him, especially me. My heart is with all of you. Love you Cheryl and Jr!

  3. Cheryl and family,

I was very saddened to hear that Gary passed away. He was one of kind. I have so many fond memories of time we spent together over the 45 plus years since we first met playing softball together.

Please accept my deepest condolences. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  4. So sorry to all the family. Gary was such a great man. His kindness and generosity was second to none. I couldn’t have made it through college and my early years of teaching with him. He gave me a job, made sure I was taken care of in college and took me in as one of his own family. I will never, ever forget what he did for me. Cheryl and Jr-I can’t image, but know the hearts he touch will forever live on. Prayers to the both of you and the extended family. I will miss him.
