Schott, Marlene F. (nee: Unwer)

April 8, 1938 - December 8, 2023

85, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on December 8, 2023. She was born on April 8, 1938, in St. Louis, MO to the late Louise (nee Mueller) and George Unwer; Marlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen J. Schott, who passed away in 1991, as well as her sister, Dolores Markle, brother George Unwer, and sister June Unwer.

Marlene attended St. Francis De Sales from grade school through her high school graduation. She later met her future husband Allen while playing in the bowling league of Edison Brothers, their mutual employer. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, where her daughter attended school.

Services:  Visitation Wednesday December 13, 4 – 7 p.m. at KUTIS AFFTON, 10151 Gravois. Funeral Thursday, December 14, 9:30 am from Kutis Affton to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.

Marlene is survived by her daughter, Amy Louise (Francis) Schott, and her niece Beverly Unwer. She will be missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marlene’s memory to the American Kidney Fund.
