In Loving Memory

Schuessler, Kathleen S.

Kathleen S. Schuessler, 70, of St. Louis, Mo., died April 24, 2022, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.

She was born June 17, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., daughter of Gerhard and Elda (Weinhold) Bergt. She and Dennis Schuessler were married May 15, 1976.

Kathy grew up in Altenburg, Mo., attended Southeast Missouri State University and then worked for many years as a secretary at several law firms in downtown St. Louis.

Survivors include her husband Dennis; two daughters, Holly (Kevin) Duff of Bluffton, S.C., and Tori Schuessler of St. Louis; and two grandsons, Leo Duff and Oliver Duff. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carol Hurston; and two brothers, Gary Bergt and Donald Bergt.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 5252 S. Lindbergh, St. Louis. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Memorial Lutheran Church or The Arthritis Foundation.
