Schwent

In Loving Memory

Schwent, Susan “Sue” Geralyn

December 6, 1956 - February 27, 2026

Susan Geralyn Schwent (Wosman), 69, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on February 27, 2026.

Born on December 6, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, Susan was the beloved daughter of Mary and Adrian F. Wosman. She built her life in the city she loved, surrounding herself with family, friends, and the things that brought her joy.

Susan worked in banking and bookkeeping throughout her career, but her favorite and most cherished role was being “Gaga.” Nothing brought her more happiness than her grandchildren, whom she adored and spoiled at every opportunity. Whether through thoughtful gifts big and small or simply her constant presence, she showed her love in ways that will never be forgotten.

She found joy in simple pleasures — reading by her swimming pool, enjoying casino nights at the slot machines, and unwinding with her favorite weeknight sitcoms, especially The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men. Her home was a place of warmth, humor, and unmistakable love.

Susan was strong, loyal, and undeniably loving. She had a forceful presence — not out of harshness, but out of leadership. She was someone people naturally followed, someone who stood firm for those she loved, and someone whose love ran deep and unwavering.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Schwent; her children, Mike and Tamara Schwent (Sarasota, FL), Sarah and Dusty Johnson (Henley, MO), and Jimmy and Bailey Schwent (San Antonio, TX); and her treasured grandchildren, Natalie, Rachel, and Sadie. She also leaves behind extended family and many friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

In honor of her wishes, there will not be a formal viewing or wake.

Michael and her children find comfort in knowing that although her passing was unexpected, she is no longer suffering the challenges of her earthly life.

With love,

The Schwent Family

Condolences

  5. Well, what can I say? There is only one Sue and I for one was extremely honored to be able to call her my friend.
I think Sue loved playing the role of a tough person, but that wasn’t her once you knew her you ended up, loving her cause she was herself. She was one of a kind and I for one thought that was refreshing. I think that’s why we got along so well. God, bless her and rest in peace Sue.
