Ida Kathleen “Kat” Simpson entered into rest Sunday, August 23rd, 2020 at the age of 93.
Beloved husband and best friend of John C Simpson, loving mother to Geretha and Richard (Kim) Simpson. Dear Grandmother of Melissa and (late Ryan Falvey), Jennifer Simpson and Austin (April) Simpson. Dear great-grandmother to Peyton, Taylor and Aubrey Falvey. Dear sister in law, aunt and friend to many.
Kathleen was a devoted member of Friendship Assembly of God church. She loved cooking and baking. Though her family’s hearts are heavy with sorrow, they are at ease knowing she is at peace in Heaven. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Fri. Aug. 28, 9:30 a.m. until service at 12 noon. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
