In Loving Memory

Snell, Sr., Robert “Bob” L.

January 27, 1940 - November 23, 2025

Robert “Bob” L. Snell, Sr.  Sunday, November 23, 2025.  Loving husband of the late Carole Snell; dear father of Bob (Tammy) Snell, Jr. and Debra (Tim) Dismang; dear grandpa of Meghan (Austin Chamberlain) Dismang, Matthew Snell and Mark Dismang; dearest brother of Jeannine (the late Clifford) Goetz, Sherry (Gary) Forsee; brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Born with a strong work ethic and a generous heart,  Bob devoted his life to the things that mattered most: his family, his work, and the joy he found in flipping houses.  He had a gift for seeing potential – whether in a project or in a person – and he poured his time, energy and steady determination into bringing out the best in both.

Bob’s family was his greatest pride.  He showed his love through quiet consistency, steady support, and the kind of presence that made people feel safe and cared for.  His hands were rarely still always fixing building or improving something, but he always made time for those he loved.

Services:  Memorial visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 4-6pm.  Concludes at funeral home.  Thursday, December 4, 11am meet at the entrance/office of Bellerive Gardens Cemetery 740 N. Mason Road St. Louis, MO 63141 for a graveside service.

Condolences

  1. The SNELL family are a major part of my memories growing up. I used to ride motorcycles witb Bob Jr., i later was employed by Bob as a painter. Bob was a great boss and friend, I always felt at home with the SNELL family. MAY GOD BLESS THE SNELL FAMILY.

  2. A wonderful man, my best for over 75 years. Our lives moved us apart in geography, but never in our thoughts and friendship for each other. Bob, I will miss knowing that if I needed to hear a friendly voice, I always knew I could call. May you and Carol be spending many wonderful moments catching up, dancing and sending your kids and grandkids heavenly kisses so they know you are close.
