Spesia

In Loving Memory

Spesia, Lisa R.

62, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 after demonstrating resilience and grace in her fight against cancer. Born December 14, 1958 to the late John and Dorothy Spesia. Beloved sister of Judy Reardon, Tina and the late Tom Reichardt, John and Susan Spesia and Gina and Steve Walsh. Doting aunt, great-aunt, cousin and loyal friend to many.
Lisa loved life and the people in her life. Family gatherings, movie nights at the winery and trips to the lake with the girls were just a few of her favorite things. She took pride in the 19 years she spent working at Loy Lange, where co-workers quickly became her friends. The love and support they have shown Lisa throughout this journey has been remarkable.
Though quite tired at the end, Lisa gathered her strength to share a few moments on a FaceTime call with the nieces and nephews she loved so much. Our deepest thanks to the healthcare workers who compassionately cared for her in her final days.
Lisa will be remembered for her big heart, contagious smile, giving spirit and her unwavering commitment to those she loved. Here’s to you, Lisa…
Services: Due to the covid pandemic, a private service will be held with immediate family only. KUTIS AFFTON SERVICE

  1. Lisa was such a kind and fun-loving person and we really enjoyed getting to know her over the past 7 ½ years after I began working at Loy-Lange. We had a lot of fun over the Cards/Cubs rivalry and she never failed to give me trouble when the Cards prevailed which was more often than not. Lisa took excellent care of our customers who loved working with her because of her great attitude and contagious sense of humor. We watched Lisa battle her illness so bravely while always keeping her upbeat attitude. I only wish we were able to spend more time together at work and outside of work but God had other plans for her. Rest In Peace Lisa. We will remember you always and smile when we do.
