October 8, 1933 - January 27, 2025

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, January 27th, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Spreck; devoted mother of Laura (John) Lee, Mike (Tina) Spreck, and Lynda Spreck; adoring grandmother of Joe Spreck, Jordyn Spreck, Jamison Spreck, Lexie Lee, and Ethan Lee; dearest daughter of the late Leo Schriedel and Helen Schriedel (nee Neitzert); loving sister of Tim Schriedel and the late Margaret Reitz and Ray Schriedel; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Lorraine was a devoted and faith-filled wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She brought so much joy to others, and she lived life to the fullest. May her memory be a blessing.

SERVICES: Visitation will be at St. John Paul II (formerly St. George – 4960 Heege Rd., 63123) on Friday, January 31st from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM, with the funeral Mass at 9:00 AM. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Memory Care Home Solutions, or The Caregiver Club. These organizations were very helpful in providing support and resources to manage Lorraine’s Alzheimer’s care.

  1. I didn’t know Lorraine, but I am sure she was a very wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend, because I know and love her daughter Laura. I know it would take a kind, caring, person to raise someone like Laura. Thinking of her family and those close to her in this difficult time.

  2. We have lived next door to the Sprecks’ for 41 years and enjoyed every minute of it. How lucky we are to have know this entire family. Our condolences to all.

    We have lived up the street from the Spreck’s for 53 years. Our 3 children grew up with Laura, Mike and Linda!! Lorraine was always helpful and a joy to be around. She will be missed by many.

  4. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother Lorraine. She was a wonderful neighbor for over 30 years. She always had a kind word and a funny story. I will miss seeing her sitting on the porch with her pooches!💜
