In Loving Memory

Stotlemeyer, Donald “Don” M. Sr.

December 10, 1961 - October 26, 2025

passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Loving husband of Ellen Stotlemeyer (nee Cosat) of 41 years; beloved father of Donald Jr. (Nichole), Michael, Steven (Sarah) and Peyton Stotlemeyer; dearest grandpa of Savannah, Sebastian and Sadie Stotlemeyer; dog grandpa of Buddy and Oso; dear son of the late Walter K. Sr. and Eleanor Stotlemeyer (nee Langendorf); brother of Carol (Kenneth) Sutton and Walter (Pat) Stotlemeyer Jr., brother-in-law of Christina (Ray) Leslie, Donald (Mary), Martin, Patrick Cosat, Mary (Chuck) Maddox and Carrie (Joshua) Burrus; our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

He will be remembered for his creativity, kindness, and the deep love he had for his family

A true craftsman at heart, Don loved building and creating. He enjoyed giving something old a new life. He had a lifelong passion for fishing and found peace on the water, where time seemed to slow down. He also had a great appreciation for classic cars, admiring the beauty of timeless design.

Don had a special gift for tinkering — he loved taking things apart  and somehow putting them back together even better than before. Whether he was building, fixing, or inventing, he found joy in creating with his hands and imagination.

But above all, Don loved his family. He was happiest when surrounded by the people he cared for most, telling stories, playing card games, lending a hand, or simply sitting together.

His humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in every project, every laugh shared, and every moment spent together in love

Service Monday, November 3, 11:00 a.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.  Interment Park Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation Sunday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Condolences
