Straub, Nancy Lonetta (nee Puyear)

May 4, 1935 - July 13, 2025

Nancy Straub nee Puyear was born on May 4, 1935 and passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Nancy was born in St. Louis and grew up in Richmond Heights. She graduated from Maplewood Richmond Heights High School. She briefly attended Washington University before working as an executive secretary at McDonnell Aircraft Corporation for many years. She then met and married the love of her life, Henry C. Straub, Sr. (“Hank”). After marrying Hank, she devoted herself full time as a wife and mother. Our beloved Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Henry C. Straub, Sr.  Dear mother of H. Charles (Sandra) Straub Jr, William Puyear (Cindy) Straub, and the late infant Sarah Elizabeth Straub; dear grandmother of Katherine, Nicholas, and Samuel; our dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice are appreciated.

SERVICES: Visitation on Monday, July 21 at 12:00 pm to be followed by the funeral services at 1:00 pm at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123).  Burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.

    My heart is with you during this time of deep sorrow. I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved mother. There are no perfect words that can take away the pain, but please know that I am holding you close in my thoughts and lifting you all up in prayer.
    Your mother’s love, her presence, and the memories you’ve shared will forever be a part of you. I pray that God wraps you in His perfect peace, comforts you in the quiet moments, and strengthens you as you walk through the days ahead.
