Cherished husband of 61 years to the late Marilyn L. Thoms (nee Halliburton); father of David, Daniel (Jerry), Michael (Lisa) and the late Christopher Thoms; grandfather of Nick Thoms, Sarah (John) Sykes and numerous step-grandchildren; great grandfather of Eleanor Sykes and many step-great grandchildren; father-in-law of Theresa Thoms; son of the late Adolph and Dorothy Thoms; brother of the late Norman and Aleta Thoms; uncle of Susan Allman; great uncle of Orion Allman.
Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois, Wednesday November 12th 11:00 AM until funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the charity of one’s choice appreciated.
Wayne was a good friend. Being his neighbor, I always enjoyed our talks in his home. He was a very intelligent man with an incredible memory. I was always amazed that he could recall dates, times, people, and events with such accuracy. Very interesting to listen too. I will miss him a great deal!

Wayne was very interesting to listen to as he described his connection to our father as they worked at McDonald Douglas. I always enjoyed visiting with Wayne and Marilyn.
