  7. My condolences to the family. I went to grade and high school with Sally. I doubt there is anyone left of her family that will remember me (us). We did not live far from each other and became good friends.
Her parents were always nice. Here are a few things that might be of interest or humorous to someone.
We annoyed her sister Karen just because: we were younger, they shared a bedroom and she felt we invaded her privacy. She was not nice to either of us. Just an older sister situation.
They had 2 horses, Rusty was the dominate one. One day the other horse went out the gate first and was bitten by Rusty which caused me to go flying off. I’ll always remember Sally telling me that I KNEW Rusty had to go first!
Sally had an elderly aunt from her father’s side that lived alone. We would stop by after school and visit her. Sally enjoyed the aunt and her stories.
    Methodist church on Sunday.
Our nightly phone calls about boys. Shared lots of secrets.
I spoke to Sally about 10 years ago encouraging her to come to the 50th Class Reunion but she was not interested. I was looking for her number to call to invite her for the 60th when I discovered she was already at the biggest and best reunion.
She was a dear friend and I will always have a place for her in my heart.
I’m sure she was a great mother and grandmother.
    Prayers for all of you!
