Anthony(Tony) John Tumminia Jr.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) John Tumminia Jr. who passed away on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 at the age of 38.
Tony was born on Janurary 17th, 1987 in St. Louis, MO to (father) Anthony Tumminia and (mother) Carol Smith . He grew up in Catawissa, MO and later made a home in High Ridge, MO with his spouse Amanda. He worked hard as a truck driver most recently for Carlisle Construction Materials to support his family.
Throughout Tony’s life he was known for his willingness to help anyone who needed it. Tony would give you the shirt off his back if that was what you needed. Tony was also kind, loving, skillful, hardworking and a rock for his family. He enjoyed working on anything with a mortor, time spent with his kids and family. He truly enjoyed taking pictures of sunsets to show and post so everyone could see what he saw on his trucking journeys.
Tony is survived by his spouse Amanda (Hutchings) Tumminia, children Mia Thompson, Lexie Tumminia and Riley Tumminia. Tony is also survived by his father Anthony Tumminia Sr., mother Carol Smith, brothers Joseph Fozzy, Andrew Fozzy, sister Shannon Hamilton (Kyle), nephews and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by Sheila Tumminia, Cassidy Hutchings and Rosemary Tumminia.
The funeral service will be held on October 11th, 2025 at Kutis Funeral Home in South County off of Lemay Ferry Road. Private family visitation is at 10am, with public visitation starting at 11am. The funeral service will begin at 1pm.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all family and friends for their kind words and support during this tough and trying time.

We have been neighbors of Tony and Amanda for many years. Tony was always willing to lend a hand when we asked for help. We were saddened to hear of his passing and our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who knew and loved him. He was a good guy and we know how badly he will be missed. RIP Tony!
