Beloved husband of Shirley Uebel (nee Stevens); loving father of Gary (Kelly) Uebel, late Terri (surviving Kevin) Timmerman and Carol (Joe) Gallaher; dear grandfather of Lindsey, Amanda, Kristen, the late Scott, Nick, Rachel, Brian, Kate, Elizabeth, Emily, Sarah and Caroline; dear great-grandfather of Matthew, Samantha, Ava, Leo, Ada, Lucy, Austin, Asher, Everett, Jack, Rose, Eloise and Charlotte; dear brother of the late John and Ray Uebel; dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend.

Leo was a longtime member of Electrical Workers Union (IBEW) Local 1439.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois Wednesday September 27, 9:30 AM to St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church for 10:00 AM mass. Interment JB National Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 4:00-8:00 PM.

This Bible verse recorded in John 5:28 has been of comfort to our family when experiencing a loss. It reads “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus Christ) voice and come out “. May God Jehovah give strength and his love to each of you.

  2. I worked with Leo at the Mackenzie garage, he was always nice to us young lineman, that was not always the case with a lot of the linemen charged with our training
