passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

Loving husband of the late Kathleen F. Wade (nee Somogye); beloved father of Stephanie Kerth, Katelyn (Pfeiffer) and Robert J. (Mallory) Wade; dearest poppy of Isabella, Addison Pfeiffer and Meadow Wade; dear brother of Barbara Milligan, Lawrence Wade and Sally Thomas; companion of Carol Grass; brother-in-law of Jerry (Janet), Ron (Marlene) Somogye and the late JoAnne Lewis; our dear uncle, cousin, friend of many, many lifelong friends; friend to the late four-legged dog Blackie.

Robert was a skilled glazier tradesman and was a proud and once active member of Local #513.

Memorial Visitation on Saturday, November 11, 1:00 p.m. until Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.  Due to Robert’s love for gardening please contribute living plants in lieu of floral arrangements or plant items in honor of his memory.

  1. I grew up with Bob, known him all my life. Many many great memories over the years from playing hockey on a creek to all the wonderful hunting and fishing trips we took together. Rest in Peace Bob, you will be missed by all who knew you. You were like a brother to me.

  4. Dear Bob, my baby brother, I am deeply saddened by your loss and will miss you so very much! On a brighter note, I envision you dancing with Kathy in Heaven;’s gazebo and laughing with Ryan, Shannon, Mom, Dad and others who passed before you.
    You were a great husband, father, brother and good friend to so many. You are TOO WELL LOVED TO EVER BE FORGOTTEN! Hugs

  5. My mom went to school with Bob, and remained friends with he and Kathy our entire lives. My brother and I shared many memories as kids with Steph, Katie, and Rob as well at different family/friend functions growing up. He was always a nice guy and will be missed.
