Wapelhorst, Joseph R.,  passed away on December 12, 2020.

Beloved father of Marikay (John) Kirkley, Julie (Glenn Fuslier) Hoffmann and Jennifer (Zach) Cinkosky; cherished grandfather of Justin Yarbrough, Nicholas Yarbrough, Sara Kirkley, Kaitlyn Kirkley, Riley Hoffmann and Helen Cinkosky and great-grandfather of Evie Yarbrough; dear significant other of Mary Homier; dear brother of James (Ingrid) Wapelhorst; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Wednesday, December 16, 3:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm. Service concludes at the funeral home. Memorials to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or St. Louis Area Food Bank, Marines Toys for Tots, or Salvation Army, appreciated.

  9. Joe’s passing is a great loss for all of us who knew him. I will always cherish the
    time spent with him travelling around the globe, and also the times my wife and I
    spent with him in St. Louis and in Chicago.
