  3. Vicki and family, sorry to hear of your dad passing a couple of days ago. He was the last of his generation which is the third generation of the John Albert Waterkotte family being the first in the United States of America. I grew up on cherry street here in Quincy on the same block that Charley grew up. It was nice seeing you and your dad at a few of our recent family reunions. May God give you and your family the strength in coping with your loss. Jim

    • Thanks, Cousin❣️ I know you understand how this is since losing your own father so recently. I guess you are never quite ready for it but he lived a very full and long life,

  5. Sincere condolence on the passing of Charlie. We had the pleasure of sharing in many sporting events of his grandchildren along with our kids( who are now adults). His smile denoted a deep love and pride in his family. He persevered through some of life’s great heartaches and beamed with delight at their successes and special moments. His heartfelt support to his family was exemplary. When we saw him, He always had a smile, friendly conversation, and a little chuckle on the side. Praying for you all as you celebrate his life, he was truly one of a kind.
