Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday January 15, 2017.

   Beloved husband of Joyce  Yancey (nee Wachenheim) and the late Merlyn Yancey for 54 years (nee Klockenkemper);  cherished father of  Barbara J. (Monroe) Brewer and Robert S. (Linda) Yancey,  stepfather of John (Mary) Bishop; loving grandfather of Chris (Julie) Brewer, Liz Brewer, Bob Brewer, Sarah (Jared) Brewer and  Miranda Yancey.

   First Sergeant Yancey was a 5 year WW II veteran, serving in the Aleutian Islands as a member of the 138 Army Infantry. He continued his service for 35 years retiring from the Missouri  National Guard 138 Engineers in 1982. He was a member of  Glaziers Local #513.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Monday, January 23, 10:30 a.m. to St. George Catholic Church for 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Hospital, Memphis, TN, appreciated. Visitation Sunday, 4-8 p.m.
