June 15, 1949 - May 15, 2025

Michael J Zangara passed away at his home in High Ridge, MO on Thursday, May 15, 2025 Mike is the beloved husband of Carol (Yewell) Zangara for 30 years and daddy to our dog Fannie Lou Mike is survived by 3 half brothers Michael A Zangara, Tony Zangara, and Christopher (Cindi) Zangara, sister in law Linda Yewell and brother in law Tom (Gayle) Yewell Mike is proceeded in death by his mother Joy Zangara, brother Ricky Zangara, stepfather Frank Zangara, and father Michael V Zangara Mike’s greatest loves were God, family , and our country.

Mike was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served our country. Mike’s first love was God.  He loved reading the Bible, his weekly Bible studies, sharing the word with ours and being on the prayer line at church where he loved praying with others.  He often would ask me to pray for him so the Lord would give him the right words to speak to others and the Lord always did. Mike was loved by many and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers please make donations to our church Crosspoint Church.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Monday, May 19, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service at Kutis Tuesday, May 20 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

  1. I am saddened to hear of , Mike’s passing. We were co-workers and friends for many years.
    It is because of Mike that I took up cycling. Although Mike, will no longer be pedaling, I will always think of him when I ride.
    Our prayers are with you ,Carol.

  2. I am so sorry to hear that Mike lost this battle! He was a good man and his belief in god was great! So I know he’s up on a cloud watching out for his loved ones. Praying for Carol and all of his loved ones! I am happy I got to give him a hug last time I saw him. RIP brother!❤️
