Zachary “Zac” Michael Zeiter, beloved son of Charles and Beth (née Goettelman) Zeiter, passed away suddenly at the young age of 28 on July 29, 2025. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 17, 1996 and attended Rockwood Summit High School.
Zac was a devoted and loving father, first and foremost. His daughter, Addyson, was the light of his life, and he poured his whole heart into being the best dad he could be. He was endlessly patient, tender, and loving. Zac made sure Addyson knew she was cherished beyond measure. He embraced every moment of fatherhood with joy and gratitude, and his bond with her was as deep as it was beautiful. He was also a cherished brother to Tim Zeiter, Josh Zeiter, and Ashley Stephens; loving significant other to Hannah Meyer, the mother of Addyson; proud uncle to Hayden Zeiter and Leia Stephens; dear grandson of the late Cliff and Lucille Goettelman and Tony Zeiter and Theona Zeiter; beloved brother-in law, friend, nephew, and cousin to many.
Zac had a naturally inviting presence and a generous spirit- always ready to lend a hand. He felt things deeply, loved greatly, and always noticed the people around him and made them feel seen and cared for. He carried each of us in his heart every day- and now, we will carry his memory in ours. The ache of missing him will last a lifetime, but so will the immeasurable gift of having loved him.
Please join us for a visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123) on Saturday, August 9th, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. We welcome all who knew and loved Zac to come and share memories, support one another, and celebrate a life well lived.
