Zell, Richard S. Fortified With the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday October 10th, 2025.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Judy Zell (nee Freihaut) of 61 years. He was the loving father of Sandy (Ray) Blaskow, Laurie (Scott) Austin and Holly (Matt) Blaskiewicz. Richard was also the beloved grandpa of Richard (Anna) Blaskow, Kelly (Bryant) Crites, Sandra (Zach) Sherrill, Samantha (Kellen) Schlundt, Emma, Olivia, Ava and Amelia Blaskiewicz. Loving great-grandpa of Charlie and MJ Blaskow and Addie Sherrill. Richard was a loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Services: A public visitation will take place at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church (6603 Christopher Dr. Saint Louis, MO 63129) on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 9:30am until the time of Mass at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Richard, was an amazing individual! I knew him from Bethesda Terrace, where I work overnights. He was a kind and humble man, and always had a positive outlook. I will miss seeing him and Judy, at dinner. I will keep his family in my prayers.

Rich was my boss at my first job out of college in 1991. I worked with him from 1991 to 1995 at Boatmens Bank mortgage backed securities trading desk. My condolences to his family.
