Beloved husband of JoAnn Ziegler (nee Lamia); loving father of Mike (Lorinda) Ziegler, LaSheryl (Eric) Hackenwerth, Rich (Diane) Oppits, and Lori Lavac ; cherished grandfather of Josh Espey, Justin Espey, Ashleigh Hackenwerth, Erica Hackenwerth, Jeff Espey, Tessa Ziegler, Zach Ziegler, Abby Ziegler, Lauren Oppits, Jacob Oppits, Alaina Lavac and Drew Lavac; great-grandfather of Shane, Jacob, Landyn, Talon and Jeffrey; dear brother of Larry (Shirley) Ziegler, Judy (Tom) Courtois and Terry (Terri) Ziegler; preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Vera Ziegler and grandson Jeff Epsey.

Service: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, February 11, 10:00 am. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials to the American Lung Association, appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 pm

And I just loved that you loved hearing my stories!! Every time I seen you, you always wanted to hear one of my stories and boy did I have some Love You Roger ! GOD BLESS.     2015. He and Joann were very special friends to our sister for a long time.
    He did enjoy our stories so we would
    call from Alabama to lift his spirits.

I remember my exchanges with Roger to always be kind, cheerful and no matter the situation…Roger always leaving a smile on my face. Roger was looked up to by his team members for his grounded demeanor and experience. Rest in peace.
