Zills, Floretta (Fisher)

Floretta (Fisher) Zills went home to be with the Lord  on July 11, 2023, after battling dementia.

Floretta was born July 25, 1935 in Spring Valley, Alabama to the late Johnnie and Etta (Isbell) Fisher.

Floretta was a member of Mt. Olive General Baptist Church, Fenton, MO,

She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Raymond H. Zills, her parents, brother Clinton Fisher; sisters Olene Moreland, Pauline McAlister, Marie Brewer and Shelby Jackson. and three infant siblings Raymond W. Fisher, Melba Fisher and Nancy Fisher.

She is survived by her only child, Ruby D. Beaver and son-in-law Rev. Ron Beaver; grandchildren Raymond Nicolas Beaver and Jessica  Loretta Kemp (Jason Ballew).

Great-grandchildren Daniel G. Raymo and Jocelynn R. Kemp. Nieces Donna Kelsoe and Rita Hatton.

Nephews Ricky Jackson, Arnold Brewer, Bobbie Brewer, Johnnie Brewer and Alan McAlister.

Several great-nieces and nephews.  And her special little boys at church Jackson and Cory.

A special thank you to the care givers with Crossroads Hospice.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Olive General Baptist Church, Fenton, MO. On Saturday July 29th at 3PM

Dear Flo you were one of the sweetest ladies at church I always loved chatting with you and after we had Cory you became known as Boo and Cory and Jackson was all we talked about when we chatted, Cory always loved running up and giving you hugs and you would just smile and told me I sure love those boys, I will make sure we take care of them for you
