Mary Margaret “Mollie” O’Flynn Devereux of Saint Louis, Missouri was called to eternal life on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mollie was the beloved wife of Robert “Bo” Devereux Sr. for 39 years and the loving mother of Robert “Bo” Jr. (Carolyn), James “Jim”, David, Mary (Matthew) Kouri, and Caroline. She was also the cherished grandmother, known lovingly as “Grandma” to Molly, Annie, and Kate Devereux and Mary Margaret Kouri.
Mollie was the daughter of Barbara O’Flynn and the late James O’Flynn, Sr. and the devoted sister of Bridget O’Flynn (the late Charles Hof), Kate, and the late James Jr. (Beth) and sister-in-law to Dennis (Rebecca) Devereux, Susan Devereux, and Karen Devereux.
She was preceded in death by her father, James O’Flynn, Sr.; her brother, James O’Flynn, Jr.; her father-in-law, Joseph F. Devereux, Sr.; her mother-in-law, Patricia Devereux Roberts; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph F. Devereux, Jr., Patrick Devereux, Sr., and Charles R. Hof.
Mollie was a graduate of Nerinx Hall and Saint Louis University and had a long and distinguished career owning a mortgage company and Gateway Title Company.
Mollie’s unwavering faith, love for her family, and quiet strength through her illness were a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, mother, siblings, nieces, and nephews, who will carry forward the love and legacy she leaves behind.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jesse Keller and the entire Siteman BJC team for their extraordinary care.
SERVICES: A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4 to 8 PM at Kutis Funeral Home 10151 Gravois, St. Louis, MO 63123, followed by a funeral Mass on Friday, September 18, at St. Roch Catholic Church 6040 Waterman Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63112, beginning with a visitation at 9:00 AM and the Mass will begin at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Nerinx Hall High School, DeSmet Jesuit High School, or the Siteman Cancer Center in Mollie’s memory.
