Arizpe-Jones, Marina

57, passed Sunday, August 19th, following a long illness.  She leaves her husband Chris Jones, sons Enrico and Antonio,  brothers Carl (Suzanne) Arizpe and Victor (Julie) Arizpe, and their families. Marina is the daughter of the late Carlos R. and Licia P. Arizpe.

As the daughter of immigrants, a Mexican father (Carlos) and Italian mother (Licia), Marina fully embraced both cultures, with family here in St. Louis and in both countries. Marina attended Oakville High School and graduated from the University of  Missouri, Rolla. As a highly accomplished plastics engineer at GM, she developed applications for automotive interiors and  authored online learning courses for engineers. Marina was an amazing wife and proud mother of her two incredible sons. A loving mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, niece,  cousin, and friend, With her beautiful smile, she will be missed and remembered as an endearing bright light, and generous  inspiration to many.

Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Sat., Aug. 25th, 9:15 a.m. for 10 a.m. Mass at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 6603 Christopher Rd. Visitation on Fri., Aug 24th, 5 PM- 8PM  Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd.
