On Saturday September 30th, 2023 Barbara Ann Carmen entered into rest.
She enjoyed shopping, dining out, cooking, Red Hat gatherings, family holidays, good music and especially traveling, particularly on cruise ships. This, along with always being on the move earned her the nickname Run Around Sue.
She loved laughing and just being silly. She made friends everywhere she went. She was always drawn to children and babies and was so proud of her tiny furbaby Chili Dog who she adored. Her favorite foods were giant cheeseburgers, ice cream and lemon anything. She made the best Chicken n Dumplins and potato salad in the whole world. She was a strong willed woman and beat throat cancer at 79 years old.
She leaves behind 3 adult children, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, a niece and a great nephew. She is now in the presence of Jesus, her Lord and family that she missed dearly. Rest In Peace Momma
