In Loving Memory

Hauser, Janet L. (nee Eason)

March 12, 1956 - January 23, 2025

passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2025 after a short illness.  Janet was the beloved wife of Paul V. Hauser for 43 wonderful years.

Born March 12, 1956 in Kirkwood, Missouri to Donald and Florence (Bopp) Eason.  Janet was the sister to Elizabeth Tomasovic, David Eason and Joan Garrison.  She was a very caring sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt, niece and cousin.  Janet graduated from Mizzou as a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority with a degree in elementary education.  Her many friends included the nine “fun loving” Kirkwood Girls, the Kirkwood Supper Club and numerous retired teachers from Meramec Valley R3 School District.  She spent her 29 year teaching career in this district where she won an Emerson Teacher of the Year Award.  Her passions were family, friends, games, vacations on the Florida Gulf Coast and Cardinals’ baseball.

Any heartfelt donations can be kindly made to St. Jude’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society.  The family thanks the St. Clare Hospital staff for their very compassionate and professional care.

  2. I had the pleasure of working with Janet. She was an amazing teacher! Every child had a place in her classroom and her students could run the classroom without her. Her classroom was always so calm and inviting. She had a great impact on many children! My condolences to all who love her.
