To my late Great Uncle Jerry, I will truly miss you and your calm voice and boisterous laughter. You welcomed me, adopted into the family, and baptized me into the Church. My mother and father (Tim and Deb) always spoke of Jerry in the highest regards. I always enjoyed Jerry’s intellectual outlook on the world, and his important commentary, focused on human rights and justice. He served as a mentor in faith during and after priesthood. He will be remembered as role model to me.
All our love and prayers always to you and your family
with heartfelt gratitude for all your kindness and caring
given to our family over many years. We cherish
your memory and won’t forget all the goodness that
you shared with us over countless family get togethers
and your humour and advice. Your devotion to the Riordan
family was a blessing to all of us. Thank you for Jim Riordan,
Charlotte Riordan, Gerry Riordan, and Mary E. Butterhorn, Tom
Lapides who are also in our prayers and will be with you
in heaven. Glenn Butterhorn
My sincere and prayerful condolences to Martha and Frank and Lisa and to the rest of the family. Jerry was a beloved seminary mate while at Cardinal Glennon College on the AV crew and at Kenrick. My loss for having lost touch over all these past years. May he rest in eternal peace.
I will miss his words of wisdom and greatly appreciated advice. Love to the family. Laura Jag
