December 1, 1929 - March 20, 2025

Entered into rest on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Dear wife of the late Heny J. Lechner.

Mrs. Lechner graduated and placed in upper third at Comptometer School, graduated magna sum laude from Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development and an associate degree in Liberal Studies in Social Sciences. She Participated in Corp. management training at AT&T and SWBT, was a Basic Literacy Tutor, Literacy Council of Greater St. Louis and retired as a supervisor from AT&T/Bell systems in the Treasury Dept. after 30 years

Her personal Interests included Theatre, Cities/Urban Affairs, Twentieth Century art, and Jazz.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Saturday, April 5, 1:00 PM until funeral service at 3:00 PM. Entombment Mt. Hope Mausoleum on Monday, April 7, at 2:00 PM.

  1. Aunt Jean always had a special way to make us smile and we loved her stories about her daily escapes. She loved her art and paintings and was always very genuine and kind. She will be missed and is now with Uncle Henry in the arms of our Father in heaven. Peace to you Aunt Jean.
