Vester Steve Adams, 83, of St Peters Mo beloved husband of Joyce (Jarrett) Adams, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Born in Edgar Springs, Missouri to the late Claude and Agnes Adams, Vester graduated from Licking High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the First Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War. His bravery and commitment to America and his fellow soldier exemplified his lifelong dedication to duty and honor. After the military he married Joyce, the love of his life for nearly 60 years, and together they built a beautiful family raising two sons who carry forward his legacy of kindness and integrity. After retiring from many years working for Bodine Aluminum Vester loved to travel with his wife, often taking road trips and fun cruises to Alaska. He held a special place in his heart for his cat Frisky that lived for over 20 years closely by his side. Vester found contentment in the simple pleasure of growing tomatoes, tending his plants with care each season. His family was the center of his world and he found pride in their achievements and joy in their presence. He always greeted everyone with a huge smile and made sure to make all those around him laugh. His memory will be a lasting blessing to all who knew him. Besides his loving wife he is survived by his son Bradley of O’Fallon, son Jeffrey and his wife Page of Weldon Spring, granddaughter Jessica Lukacovic and her husband Joseph of Connecticut, grandson Chad Adams and his wife Kathryn of Connecticut, great-grandchildren Geraint, Gwen, and Alexander, and many other family members and special friends.
