Beloved wife of the late Paul L. Akers; loving mother of Larry (Tina) Akers, Jeff (Sandi) Akers and the late Gary (surviving Susie O’Connell) Akers; adoring grandmother of Christopher (Kathryn) Akers, Charlie Akers, Joshua (Laura) Akers, Stacey Buske and Jennifer (Travis) Deck; cherished great-grandmother of Luke, Vivian, Corinne, Alice, Eliza, Earl, Theodore, Esther, Sullivan, Savannah, Abraham, Benjamin and Eleanor. Our dearest sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.

Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Sunday, April 27 from 4-8 pm. with Funeral Service on Monday, April 28 at 10:00 am. Interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery (Salem, Mo) at 1:30 pm. Contributions to Peace Lutheran Church appreciated.

  1. So sorry to lose Louise . I cleaned for her and Paul for several years . She was such a sweet lady. Prayers for the family .

  2. Deeply saddened by the loss of such a sweet kind lady. I lived in Green Meadows subdivision and was a neighbor and frequent babysitter for Paul and Louise when the boys were young. She was one of my favorite people, always kind and full of life. You will be missed. Love you.

  4. Mrs. Akers was a fine lady. I had the pleasure of teaching her children at Bayless High School in St. Louis County. The family has my deepest sympathy!
