Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2025 at the age of 63.
Beloved wife for 41 years of Tom Aubuchon. Mother of Brian (Martha), Rachel Cusic (James), Kait Rhodes (Billy), Grandmother of Graham and Charlotte Cusic.
Monica was born on September 8, 1961, to her parents Ernie and Angeline Jung. She shares the same birthdate as her husband Tom. They attended the same high school together, however they did not meet there. It wasn’t until her friends set them up on a blind did they meet. From there the rest is history!
Monica graduated from UMSL with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. She was passionate about her work, as she was with everything she did. Whether it was making a jigsaw puzzle, sewing a blanket, playing trivia and most important of all spending time with her family. She loved being in the sun and around water, it didn’t matter if it was our Hillbilly hot tub, our Hillbilly pool, or the beach those were her happy places.
A dear friend to all who knew her. Monica had a warm smile, infectious laugh, and warm heart, she will be sorely missed.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025 at St. Catherine Laboure, 1:00. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network PANCAN. https://secure.pancan.org/site/TR/PurpleStride/PurpleStride?team_id=58283&pg=team&fr_id=2981
