Beard

In Loving Memory

Beard, Pauline

February 24, 1951 - February 4, 2026

Pauline Beard, age 74, of Barnhart, passed away on February 4, 2026, surrounded by love.

She was born on February 24, 1951, and lived a life rooted in family, connection, and joy. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Anna (Pavacic) Brucker and Anton Brucker; her sisters, Erna Brucker and Kathy Lawson; and her brother, Bill (Barbara) Brucker.

Pauline was a loving and devoted mother to Jason (Shawnee) Beard, Anthony Messmer, and Jacob (Gretchen) Messmer. She was an adoring grandmother to Cora (Cooper Wells) Beard, Chase (Hannah) Beard, Breana Messmer, Jacob Messmer Jr., and Colton Messmer, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her siblings Johnny (Rose) Brucker and Maryann (Tom) Jurkowski, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Pauline was also blessed to share over 20 years with her devoted partner, Rick Adams, who was by her side daily. Together they enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and did nearly everything hand in hand.

An immigrant by birth, Pauline built a life defined by strength, warmth, and dedication. She was a devoted housewife and took great pride in caring for her home and family. Known for her extroverted nature, she loved dancing, music, shopping, and the finer things in life. She had an eye for interior design and a deep appreciation for beauty and comfort.

Pauline had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, each person certain they were her favorite. She was strict but fair, becoming more relaxed with time, and her kindness extended to something as simple as always commenting on everyone’s Facebook posts. She loved hosting, cooking daily for her family, sharing meals, enjoying wine, and creating memories around the table.

Some of her happiest moments were fishing with her son Jacob, dining out with Jason, and spending everyday moments with Tony. Above all, Pauline loved her family fiercely and fully, and that love will be felt for generations.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

  6. This lady knew how to speak what she was thinking. And she did. She was such a special person. We truly enjoyed her company when she visited Tom And Maryann. We would see her car in her sisters driveway and say,,, Must Be Thursday. We really loved this gal. And we sure will miss her. Life will not be the same without her. RIP Pauline.
