Asleep in Jesus at the age of 41 on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

Beloved daughter of Gary (Vivienne) Bess and the late Laura Bess (nee Agnew); dearest mother of Gavin and Gabe Bockhoff; dear sister of Mary Beth (Greg) King and Mark Agnew. Our dear niece, cousin and friend to many.

Memorial visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Thursday, March 7 from 4:00 pm. until Memorial Service time at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Louis PAL or Backstoppers appreciated.

  11. Sending so much love and comfort to the Bockhoff family. Erica was an amazing mother to work with helping Gabe together as a team. She was one of those parents who you will always remember as a teacher, since she was always so involved, responsive, and in constant communication with. Thinking of the sweet Bockhoff boys that Blades Elementary already misses deeply. Love to everyone during this difficult time.

  13. I’m so sorry to hear of Erica’s passing. I always enjoyed talking to her at Kennedy Recreation Center. My thoughts and prayers are with the Bess and Bockhoff Families.
