  1. I have many wonderful memories of taking Chester on adventures at train shows. He loved to go to other events too or just out to eat. After the passing of my husband, Dan Bold, I got to continue to keep in touch with Chester.

He was so special because he remembered so many details about St. Louis and also the train systems around St. Louis.

  2. My dear brother,
Our paths did not cross often but when they did it was time well spent together. Go rest high on that mountain and walk the streets of gold! May you find your golden train there for that is where I shall search for you! Until we see each other again rest in God’s love for you were truly special.

  5. In the short time I knew him at Messiah Lutheran Church, he was always interested in the Disney characters and thought we should do more fun activities with the kids at church like a movie night showing a Disney princess movie. He also was so knowledgeable at Trivia that we wanted him at our table. A lovely man. Peace to his family.

  6. I don’t have one story of Chester from my years at Messiah that doesn’t make me smile. That is a gift. He was a gift and it was an honor to know him. I know he is now having the best Christmas of his life.

  7. Chester was always a joy and delight to visit. Our family would often go into the visit thinking we were there for Chester, which we were. But every time we left, we realized how happy he made us with his joyous spirit and wonder stories and screenplay ideas. He was always happy pray the Lord’s Prayer, a true servant of our Lord Jesus Christ.
