Joe was an all star soccer player in high school which began his love for all sports. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling on leagues with his friends. His favorite sports team was The St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to dance and travel with his wife, Janet. He was able to visit all 50 states during their vacations. He thought it was important to take family vacations with his wife and children. He loved to listen to country music especially Patsy Cline on these road trips.

I have so many happy memories with your family. Mr. Brandhorst always made me smile and always made me feel welcome and part of the family. He truly made a difference in my life. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing. The world is a sadder place for sure today. I send so many prayers to his beautiful family today.
I’m real sorry to all of my family that was hit as hard as I was by Great-Grandpa’s death. I was only able to see him once before he passed and that was the day the Cardinals won a game. When we told him he seemed happy about it. Loved him so much. 🫶🏼
