In Loving Memory

Brooks, Michael Ray

30, of Imperial died March 19, 2021, in Imperial. Mr. Brooks was a clerk. Born April 14, 1990, in St. Louis, he was the son of George “Ray” and Mary Ann (Knoblauch) Brooks.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by five siblings: Samantha (Carlin Starr) Brooks of Anchorage, Alaska,  Rachael and Tiffany Brooks of Imperial, Derek Sides of Imperial and Brandy Sides of  Festus; his grandparents: George “Big Ray” and Kathleen (Hobbs) Brooks of Imperial; six nieces and nephews: Carl, Tyler, Natalie, Kaitlyn, Carly and Levi; his aunts and uncles: Rosie Regelsperger, Lorna Baker, Tina Herrell, Diane and George Ilgenfritz , Kim and Mike Coleman, Daniel (Barb Kennedy) Brooks; and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Carl and Valle Knoblauch; and two uncles: Keven Baker Sr. and Steve Herrell.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 26, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. (Services conclude at church)  Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.

    In this time of sorrow & sadness I pray for you. I have lived your pain, therefore,
    hold closely to each other in your time of loss. Cling to Christ to ease your pain & call out when you need Him, He understands what you are going through & will always be at your call.

    Michael is walking the golden streets of heaven for he is healed & saved by His grace. He lives within your heart & always will. Some day you will see him again.
