Burkhardt 1

In Loving Memory

Burkhardt, Lawrence R. “Ronnie”

August 11, 1930 - January 29, 2025

Beloved husband of the late Marge Burkhardt (nee Kohler).  Dear father of Glenn Burkhardt, Larry (Pattie) Burkhardt, Diane (Steve) Kovac and the late Gary (Pat) Burkhardt.  Dear grandfather of Brian (Stephanie), Brook (Jon), Morgan (Kyle), Taylor, Daniel (Emilie), Jordan (Alex), Corey (George), Matthew and Marguerite.  Dear great grandfather of Connor, Waylon, Wren, Brady and Ainsley.  Dear brother of Darlene Minton.  Our dear uncle, cousin and friend.

SERVICES:  Private funeral services were held.  Larry lived most of his life in Chicago Illinois where he met Marge and they began their life together, raising children and participating in church and scouting events, eventually becoming scout master, and meeting many lifelong friends along the way.  Larry was licensed as a professional engineer in 35 states, including California, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.  Larry (to family Ronnie) enjoyed camping and the outdoors, especially the many trips to Wisconsin to fish with friends and family.  He will be missed.

Condolences
